The Street of Dreams.

Be our guest at the Jenner’s Pond Street of Dreams Design Tour.

Jenner’s Pond is part of Simpson, a nonprofit organization founded in 1865. Being a “nonprofit” doesn’t mean sacrificing upscale living. It simply means we are a locally owned and operated community that exists for the benefit of residents who live here.

As an entrance-fee community for people 55 and better, we offer some of the largest single-family homes of any Life Plan Community in our region with private backyards, patios and sun porches, gardening space and plenty of space to roam.

RSVP for our events and see Jenner’s Pond for yourself.

Big on Spacious Floor Plans

Big on Spacious Floor Plans

Our standalone, private cottages are perfect for people who don’t want to compromise on space in retirement but like the idea of community living. With up to 3,600 sq. ft., these three-bedroom family homes have a full-size kitchen, attached garage, basement, patio, porches, and outdoor yard space for personal gardening or landscaping projects.

Best of all, we take care of all the maintenance: No more lawn mowing, shoveling snow, or cleaning gutters. For those moving from townhomes, apartments, or condominiums, these cottages will give you more room than ever!

Jenner’s Pond also offers apartment-style homes with upscale appointments just steps from the community services and amenities.

Big on Lifestyle and Peace of Mind

Grow your social network via a lively scene of more than 30 resident-run groups. Our own Morrie’s Pub offers regular happy hours, live music and pub-style trivia nights. As a destination community, Jenner’s Pond attracts people from all walks of life, including retired Dupont employees and University of Delaware faculty and alumni.

Wherever you live, long-term peace of mind is important. As a Life Plan Community (also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community), Jenner’s Pond delivers a full continuum of support available should you need it.

Another huge perk is the benevolence fund. Once you move in as an entrance-fee resident, this fund assures you have a home for life, even if you run out of money due to no fault of your own.
