Simpson has been providing service to seniors in the greater Philadelphia region for more than 150 years. A not-for-profit family of services, including three entrance-fee communities and two affordable living communities, Simpson is related historically by a mission to the United Methodist Church and is open to all faiths and spiritual traditions.
Founded by women in 1865, today Simpson is also run by a woman, Carol McKinley, CEO. Carol takes her role as leader personally. She sees every community through the lens of a daughter who has watched her parents’ aging journey. What does that mean? Every detail and every nuance is focused on delivering maximum independence and dignity.
Careful oversight ensures each of our communities delivers quality services and care while embracing individual choice and independence. Our commitment, however, extends well beyond simply providing senior living residences. We also strive to offer residents and team members opportunities for personal growth and spiritual enrichment.
